Why Look For Online Auto Auctions ?

This is an exciting time to be a car-buyer. The current economic climate, combined with the evolution of internet businesses have made it possible to purchase the absolute best automobiles at ridiculous auction prices- all from the comfort of your home.

While it is always fun to browse and fantasize, the truth is, buying a high-end car is far more than just a guilty pleasure or status symbol (not there is anything wrong with either of those)

There are several factors that make buying high-end a responsible, practical decision- one that can actually save you money in the long run.

The truly top of the line automobiles (like those on this site) are NOT simply regular denim jeans with a designer label patched on. There is a genuine, dramatic difference in the quality of construction, design, and building materials used.

This equates to a higher quality vehicle.. better longevity, better performance, better parts = longer lasting parts. In many cases this also means better safety (stronger metal construction) as well as the ability to accelerate / decelerate quickly if needed.
Please take a look around, some of the prices may surprise you. Remember there is NO cost to browse, bid on any items, and there is not one cent of hidden extra fees that go to us.

Also be sure to check out the FAQ and disclaimer, and carefully look at all details of the car and auctioneer you are interested in.

Have any questions, comments or concerns? Please contact us. Thanks for your visit.

This online service makes it easy to handle everything involved in purchasing cars online: Complete descriptions, history reports, shipping services and quotes, financing options, and the ability to contact auction sellers directly. Please look over this guide which will show you what steps to take and what to look for. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and make sure you are fully educated about any car you are buying. Some factors here will apply more to used cars (which appear frequently in the auctions,) but all of it is worth reading about before your online auto auctions purchase.

Our site uses eBay technology: click here to create a FREE eBay account. There is no hidden cost or catch here, and having an eBay account will be useful for buying thousands of other items for the rest of your life.

Upon clicking on any current auction, you will be taken to a page with more details. Scroll down just below the auction information (number of bids, current price, etc.) where you can find all the information you will need about your car.

#1 Read the entire "Sellers Description"

Be sure to check the following:

Mileage: number listing how many miles are currently on the car

Location: If the car is not close enough for you to travel to, shipping costs may be involved. However, you can get a quote right from this very page (on the "Shipping" tab)- be sure to factor this in when looking at prices, but also keep in mind the vast savings you are getting over retail.

VIN: an ID number you can use if you want to research your own car history through a service such as Experian Autocheck (recommended for their low cost and detailed reports.)

Inspection will tell you if the car has gone through proper inspection for that reason.

Warranty identifies whether or not the car is still currently under warranty.

If you continue to scroll down, you will see many features of the car, from engine, transmission and body type to options and safety features. Continue down and be sure to carefully read ALL information posted by the seller of the car, view any pictures, and do not hesitate to use the "Ask the seller a question" link at the top right of the page, just right of where the bid is entered.

#2 Get the full history of the vehicle:

Click the tab that says "History Report" (next to seller description- see the image above.) You should see the details of the car history through a service such as CARFAX.

If you are uncertain or have more questions, please contact the seller of the vehicle. You can also get your own report using the VIN through a service such as Experian Autocheck.

#3 Get the shipping price and information:

Click the tab that says "Shipping" next to "History Report" where you are given easy access to the following information:

Shipping estimates from various reliable car transportation services. You can also contact each for a custom quote.

Airfare cost for flying to the location of the car- this can potentially be very cheap!

Driving directions from your current location to the seller.

#4 Check the "feedback rating" of the seller

This can be found at "Meet the seller" at the top right of the page. The feedback score comes from other users who have bought from this seller and have given them a high score for delivering quickly and honestly with their services. There is no reason someone should not have higher than a 90% positive feedback rating if you want to buy from them. If there is anything less than 100%, read the "detailed feedback" to see what any negative or neutral comments were about. The seller is allowed to comment on these- you will notice that sometimes the buyer was actually at fault or there were unique circumstances.

** Once you are certain that you are interested in the car and planning on bidding, be sure to educate yourself about the following:

#1 Financing Options

The site can link you directly with applicable financing companies to organize payment plans for your purchase. Click the tab that says "Financing" next to "Shipping," enter in the appropriate information (State, etc.) and you will be directed to more information.

#2 Buyer Protection

Check to see if the vehicle is eligible for eBays effective Purchase Protection plan. View the top of the page to the right under "Buy Safely" and look for a checkmark next to: "This vehicle is eligible for up to $50,000 in free Vehicle Purchase Protection"

Read the details about the Purchase Protection here.

#3 As with any car purchase, you will need to have the title transferred to you, get registration for your state and pay any taxes

Make sure the seller is ready on their end with the necessary steps for this. The process and taxes are different for every state. DMV.org is a useful resource for finding the information you need if you are not experienced with this process.

As always read everything carefully, do not hesitate to contact the seller, and save all correspondences. We want your car purchase to be as cheap, easy, and satisfying as possible.
