Lexus LX: The first Lexus SUV, introduced in 1996, can sit up to 7 passengers in the classic luxury interior that Lexus is known for. It has won several awards including best luxury SUV, most reliable, best to hold value, and best sound and navigation systems from sources like J.D Power and Associates, Edmunds.com and Kelley Blue Book.
With three generations, the first featured a 4.5L V6 engine which was upgraded to a V8 in later models, along with the addition of independent suspension, adjustable height, adaptive variable suspension, stability control, brake assist, side curtain and torso airbags, and upgraded transmissions (6 speed automatic in third generation,) and a plethora of luxury internal amenities that Lexus is known for.
